Additional Support for You

Supplemental therapy services are designed to enhance your healing process by incorporating alternative therapeutic tools that go beyond talk therapy. Whether you need extra support between sessions, want to explore creative expression, or are looking for ways to reinforce the skills you’re building in therapy, these services can be a valuable addition to your mental health journey.

isn't enough

NOT BECAUSE THERAPY ISN'T WORKING...

but because healing is a process that happens outside the therapy room just as much as inside it.

Maybe you’re feeling stuck between sessions, wanting something hands-on to help you process emotions in a new way. Maybe you need extra tools to ground yourself when life feels overwhelming. Or maybe you’re just looking for creative ways to deepen your self-exploration beyond talking things out.

That’s where supplemental therapy services come in. They’re not a replacement for therapy, but they can enhance it—whether that’s through guided journaling, art therapy sessions, or immersive workshops. These resources are here to help bridge the gap, giving you something tangible to work with when you need extra support.

Therapy isn’t just about what happens in the session—it’s about how you carry that growth into your daily life. So if you’re looking for a little extra guidance, creativity, or structure in your healing process, supplemental therapy services might be exactly what you need.

HOW THERAPY WORKS

Recognizing the need for help is a brave step.

Starting therapy can feel both exciting and nerve-wracking, but knowing what to expect can help ease some of the anxiety. Finding a therapist who resonates with you, someone who understands your unique struggles and goals can make a difference in how well you do in therapy so it's important to find the right match for you.

During your first session, you and your therapist will spend time getting to know each other. You'll share your story and start to build a trusting relationship. This initial meeting is often referred to as an intake session.

By the end of the first session, you should have a clearer understanding of how therapy works, feel a connection with your therapist, and have an initial plan for moving forward. Remember, it’s perfectly normal to feel a mix of emotions after your first session, but taking this step is a powerful move towards growth and healing.

As you continue with therapy, each session will build on the previous ones, providing a space for deeper exploration and growth.
