Helpful Information

Virtual Circle of Security® Parenting™ (COSP) Group Participation, Privacy + Technology The Art Room’s organizational workshops support creative expression, reflection, connection, and general well-being. Although facilitated by licensed mental health and art therapy professionals, these are educational wellness experiences—not psychotherapy, telehealth treatment, clinical assessment, crisis care, or a substitute for individualized treatment. Participation does not establish a therapist-client relationship. Creative activities may bring up personal thoughts, memories, or emotions. Participation and sharing are voluntary. Participants are encouraged to engage at their comfort level, use materials safely, and modify activities, take breaks, or step away as needed. Virtual Participation + Technology Workshops use a third-party video platform. The Art Room takes reasonable privacy and security precautions but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or complete electronic security. Participants are encouraged to join from a space offering their preferred level of privacy, use headphones when helpful, and be mindful of others nearby and recording-capable devices, including smart speakers. Participants are responsible for their devices, internet connections, and physical workspace. Privacy + Group Confidentiality Participants are expected to respect others’ privacy and not share personal disclosures, identifying information, or artwork outside the group without permission. Because this is a group setting, confidentiality among participants cannot be guaranteed. Personal sharing is optional. Participants should avoid disclosing confidential patient, client, or organizational information. Recording, screenshots, transcription, or redistribution of workshop content are prohibited without prior written permission from The Art Room and all affected participants. The Art Room will not share participants’ personal disclosures with their employer or sponsoring organization without appropriate consent, except as permitted or required by law. Acknowledgment + Consent By consenting, I acknowledge that I understand the workshop’s nonclinical purpose, voluntary participation, and associated privacy, technology, and safety considerations.
