Helpful Information
ART CLUB POLICIES + LOGISTICS Registration + Payment A spot is reserved only after online registration and payment are complete. One-time payments apply only to the selected session. Packages provide the credits listed at checkout but do not automatically reserve class dates; each session must be booked separately. Credits are nontransferable, have no cash value, and must be used before expiration. Cancellations + Attendance Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if a participant cannot attend. Missed sessions, late cancellations, and no-shows are not eligible for refunds, makeup sessions, rescheduling, or restored credits. Registration fees and packages are nonrefundable unless The Art Room cancels the session. The Art Room may cancel or reschedule due to weather, illness, low enrollment, building concerns, or other circumstances. Participants will receive a refund, credit, replacement booking, or restored package credit. Required Forms Consent, emergency contact, photo preference, and drop-off/pick-up forms must be completed before participation. Incomplete forms do not make a registration refundable. Location + Accessibility The studio is up one flight of stairs. Contact us before registering with accessibility concerns so available options can be discussed. Drop-Off, Pickup + Parking Parents/caregivers are responsible for timely arrival and prompt pickup. Participants will be released only according to permissions on file. Participants driving themselves must have written authorization. Parking is available beside the stone building and in the circular gravel lot across from the yellow and green building. Parents/caregivers are not required to stay onsite. Those who remain may use the porch, backyard, or first-floor waiting room. Participants should wear clothing and shoes that may be stained. The Art Room is not responsible for damage to personal belongings. Participation + Safety Participants must treat others, facilitators, the studio, and materials respectfully. The Art Room may require early pickup or end participation when behavior is unsafe, threatening, destructive, discriminatory, or significantly disruptive. Removal does not qualify for a refund or makeup. Art Clubs are an educational and recreational Art Club, not therapy, crisis care, or a substitute for mental health or medical treatment. Participation does not create a therapist-client relationship. Questions or attendance updates: (202) 505-2088 | info@theartroomcch.com
